FOB to FOB!

Moving around in Iraq is hard. The fastest way is by helicopter (Black Hawk's). It's not like your long line at the airport or waiting to clear the security check point. This is one of the only places where you bring guns with you. The photo is me and Steve on our way to Baghdad. We are moving from one FOB (Forward Operating Base) to another and this picture was taken just before we left Al Kut. We had the whole helicopter to ourselves. The picture of me with the pink and white cloth is special. My daughter Ciarra sent me this in the mail and I carry it with me everywhere I go. I keep it in my little green pouch next to my heart.
